Common questions, short answers.

Who is behind Overseva?

Overseva is a free clinical trial information website from The Nelson M Group LLC. It explains the basics in plain language.

Does Overseva work as a medical provider, study team or recruiter?

No. Overseva is an information website published by The Nelson M Group LLC. We do not treat patients or enroll volunteers, and the guides are not medical, legal or financial advice.

Can I report a side effect to you?

No. Please contact your doctor, and for approved products the FDA MedWatch program accepts public reports.

Could a recruiter get my information from you?

No. We never give your information to recruiters, sponsors, sites or anyone who might want your participation. For the details, read the Privacy Policy.

How frequent are the messages?

Expect up to roughly 8 texts a month; message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

Can I skip the texts?

Never automatically. The form has two separate unchecked boxes, and you can submit without ticking either one.

Do I have to share my phone number?

No. Your email address, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional. A first name, a last name, your topic and the privacy agreement are all we need.

What do I get when I sign up?

A first guide on your chosen topic by email (only if you give one), and, if you ask for them, short texts that link back to the same guides.

Can I ask about my own health here?

Not here. We cannot give medical advice. Your doctor can, and in an emergency you should call 911.

Are you connected to any review board?

No. Overseva is independent and only explains how oversight generally works.

How do I stop emails or delete my information?

Every email has an unsubscribe link. To delete what we hold, write to [email protected].

Can you connect me with a study team?

No. We do not make introductions or referrals to sponsors, sites or recruiters.

Will you tell me if a study is safe?

No. We cannot judge any particular study. We explain what safeguards usually exist and what to ask the study team.

What if I want the texts to end?

Text STOP back to us. For help reply HELP or email [email protected].
